Pelvic Floor Therapy for Male Pelvic Pain

Male pelvic health is an area that is greatly underserved and rarely discussed. Similar to women, males experience pelvic health problems such as bowel or bladder issues, sexual dysfunction, pain, and much more. The male pelvic floor is made up of muscles that stretch from the front of the pelvis to the tailbone — similar to the female anatomy. When these muscles become tense, weak, or imbalanced, they can cause a range of symptoms including testicular or penile pain, rectal discomfort, and changes in ejaculation.

At Pelvic Elements, we take a whole-body approach—looking beyond your symptoms or area of discomfort to understand the root cause. We know that pelvic pain or dysfunction can be frustrating and confusing, and our goal is to help you make sense of your symptoms, be an active participant in your treatment, and feel empowered in your recovery.

During your initial 60–90 minute evaluation, we take the time to get to know you. We'll review your past and present medical history, eating habits, activity levels, and stress factors to help us assess your whole body mechanism to determine the cause of your pain. This will help us come up with the best treatment plan that is unique to your individual needs, health goals and lifestyle.

We understand that life can be busy, so we try to offer same-week appointments with flexible scheduling — including early morning and evening options. Our goal is to make your visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Each appointment is reserved exclusively for you, ensuring there’s no waiting, no rushing — just the focused, one-on-one care you deserve.

“Dr. Soni is the PT you didn't know you needed. As a Crossfitter, I had proactively sought out a pelvic floor therapist in my 2nd trimester. What I didn't realize was that Dr. Soni is extremely knowledgeable about post c-section recovery, which is what I ended up needing. Dr. Soni has been someone who I can count on to answer my questions, give me reassurance, and help guide me through questions both during and after pregnancy. There has been a certain peace of mind that Dr. Soni has provided throughout my whole journey!”

Leg Injury

“I'm so glad that I decided to go to see Dr. Soni. I have suffered with bladder, side, and bowel discomfort for years and she has helped me so much. The exercises, diet recommendations and relaxation techniques that she recommended worked great and I feel like myself again. I love her comfortable office atmosphere and focus on my specific issues. She is very knowledgeable and helped me to find relief in areas other than the pelvis that were contributing to my problem. She offers solutions that conventional doctors do not. This gave me a unique and better way of dealing with my pain. I was looking for more holistic healing rather than typical testing and medications and I found that with Dr. Soni. I highly recommend Pelvic Elements!”
